Luisa Guaragna is a 69 year old coffee producer who deep roots and love for coffee, due to it being a family tradition that has kept the members together and reminds her of her childhood. She has been growing coffee for 40 years and she bought the farm from her mother and the plantation has always grown coffee. During certain periods they introduced alternative crop such as lulo, beans and corn. However, the farm was abandoned for 5 years because of insecurity matters and the presence of armed groups in the area. However Luisa with her strong connection to coffee farming and family traditions would not lose what is so ingrained in her heritage. We bring to you today this beautiful Natural Castillo varietal coming out of the region of Sierra Nevada in the village of San Javier from Luisa Guaragna. Upon cupping it held rich creamy malty dark chocolate, lime citrus, dark blueberries, red currants, cherry finish.
