NOTES: BOLD CREAMY MILK CHOCOLATE, RICH CARAMEL & SWEET FRUITS
This Colombian Caturra and Castillo coffee is grown at approximately 2,100 metres above sea level and decaffeinated using a washed sugar-cane process.
The green coffee is steamed and saturated with spring water before being exposed to naturally derived sugar-cane ethyl acetate. This gently removes the caffeine while preserving the coffee’s sweetness and structure. The beans are then carefully dried under controlled conditions to restore their original moisture level.
Roasted for filter brewing, the result is a smooth, sweet cup with creamy milk chocolate, rich caramel and soft fruit notes—full of flavour, without the caffeine.
Great Coffee but slow servies sometimes – took a week to get my last order delivered.
We love this Columbian decaf at home. We use it in the Bialetti and it’s perfect as an espresso. No bitterness…and great flavour. It’s the best decaf I’ve tried.
One of the best decaf coffee I have ever tried
I’ve had to switch to decaf recently and was very surprised that I could switch and still find a bean this tasty. Tried to purchase again but it’s gone!
My favourite decaf so far! Absolutely love the full bodied flavour. I use this in an aeropress
