Kenya coffee’s has been such a loved origin by Cartel Roasters, the unique flavour profile from a Kenyan coffee is like no other and we are pleased to bring you this stunning AA Washed Rianjagi out of the Embu north district on the slopes of Mt Kenya.
Rianjagi facility’s is owned and operated by the Rianjagi Farmers Cooperative Society and was founded in 1950. There are a total of 2100 members of the co-op and 1100 of these are active farmers. The Cherries are picked on small shareholder farms and bought to the wet mill for processing, the cherries are sorted, processed and depulped using fresh river water before being sundried on raised drying beds.
What we have experienced in this cup is a silky buttery body with bright citrus notes of lemon and tangerine, sparkling cola with cherry and a clean hazelnut and malt finish.
