Through years of hard work and experiments quality has formed into perfection, with the highest standards of processing involving a mix of science, research and history comes one of the most exiting flavour profiles on the market from also one of the newest exotic varietals on the market: #SIDRA coupled with the innovative #LACTIC process we are proud to launch this HEROS SERIES selection 2018 that can only be named the from the highest scoring, La Palma El Tucan exotic varietals it just landed airfreight into the country and soon to be available in the cup.
La Palma & El Tucan is an innovative farm, located two hours outside the capital Bogotá, on the eastern range of the Colombian Andes. This coffee is a nano-lot from their ‘Estate & Varietals’ program though due to the rare cup score this is a HEROES SERIES these exotic varietals have been carefully cultivated at their farm. Through the Lactic process, the coffee cherries are fermented in closed tanks for an extended period of time to achieve a higher concentration of lactic acid bacteria. This anaerobic fermentation creates a very distinctive cup profile, with a velvety body and a winey acidity.
