Kerri Greens Lazy Bastard Pinot Noir

$30.00 $27.00

The much anticipated second vintage of the Lazy Bastard Pinot Noir.

Vines tended by Kerri Greens.

Three weeks on skins, straight from pressing to barrel to bottle. This year we’ve up our production from three to eight barrels. Minimal sulphur, unfined, unfiltered.

Dense, bright and bullish, a forest full of fruits. Unbridled by the sulphur, delightful in it’s youth.

The Lazy Bastard is just that, a Lazy wine made by Lazy people, and definitely not talented winemakers with great palates. To that end, we have to throw in our Coffee and Wine pairing a great coffee that has been consistent year in and year out by talented producers. Start your morning or cap off your dinner party with Our Grandmaster Blend Excellent Coffee that we blend together year round to give a consistent taste.

Kerri Greens is a Collaboration of Australian trained and Raised Tom McCarthy with Alsace trained Lucas Blanck. Their wines are reflective of both the patience of the old world with the exuberance of the new world. Both of them are both from winemaking families, but their style reflects their own goals and business sense. They balance different methods of both minimal intervention winemaking to zero intervention winemaking with their lazy bastard to intentional intervention with their more structured Champagne like Rose, Dry beautiful Rieslings, and buttery chardonnays.
