Near the border of South Sudan, you find the wild, dense, and stunning forests of the Bench Maji zone. Home to the radiant Gesha variety. A coffee that has the power to astonish coffee drinkers around the globe with sparkling clean profiles.5 years of coffee growing experience farms a total of 623 hectares of coffee in the Guraferda District in the boundaries of the Bench Maji Zone. Growing is split between two farms, Wojemta at 950- 1,150 MASL and Fajika at 1,500-1,650 MASL. Coffee on both farms is shade or ‘Forest Grown’. Our Bench Maji Natural is handpicked, sorted then sun dried on raised mesh tables for 12 – 15 days. After the dried cherries are hulled, mechanical and hand sorting removes any substandard beans. Coffee is then bagged, inspected for export before being shipped.
