This variety widely known as the highest quality variety in the world is cultivated by CafŽ Granja la Esperanza, in the micro region of Trujillo located in el Valle del Cauca, Colombia. In 2006 CafŽ Granja la Esperanza started its mission of producing this variety In Colombia. They got some seeds from the plantation that neighbors the famous Hacienda la Esmeralda from Mr. Petterson, and came to el Valle del Cauca to plant the first seeds in the hopes that something extremely special came out from this. Today you can find flavors related to the famous Geisha of panama, but because it is in Colombian soil, we have found that the variety takes a personality of its own by adding different types of notes on to the traditional Geisha notes.
