


SAN ANTONIO CHAGUITE TODOSANTERITAS HUEHUETENANGO SPECIAL RESERVE
Cartel Coffee Roasters is loving this Finca San Antonio Chaguite was acquired in October 30th 1971 by Leonardo Perez, he bought it to his very good friend Abel Villatoro. This farm was abandoned and in his first year of Mr. Perez administration the farm produced a total of 50 qq parchment.
Don Leonardo invested and worked very hard in this farm improving the plantation and wet mill and also re planting some parts of the farm. Ten years later the farm were producing around 2 containers. In 1987 Don Leonardo inherit the farm to his son William Perez, William has been running the farm since this year. William has been doing other improvements in this farm such as new plan of fertilizing, research and wet mill improvements such as water recirculation and new equipment. He also certified this farm C.A.F.E. practices and introduces the worm for pulp usage and production of organic fertilizer for the nursery.
The farm is located around 120 km from Huehuetenango’s Town and around 370 km from Guatemala City. Located in Agua Dulce, Huehuetenango, San Antonio Chaguité has Sub Tropical conditions with an average precipitation of 1,900 mm every year, 20 Celsius average.
This farm has around 80 ha (75 are coffee plantation and 5 natural forest)
ROAST STYLE : We roasted this coffee for milk-based drinks as the sample roasts showed sign’s of chocolate. 14 min roast rolling second crack and a nice consistent crack in the cooling drum.
